🚨 URGENT: Help Us Replace Our Main Freezer ❄️

On Friday, March 6th, our commercial deep freezer stopped working after more than 20 years of faithful service.

Replacing this unit will require a large portion of the financial reserves we normally rely on for our 7-day a week operation.  This freezer also accounted for nearly 85% of our total freezer storage space, so its loss greatly impacts how much food we can safely store.  

We have officially been thrust between a rock-and-a-hard-place.  

Each day we cook an average of 50 pounds of meat, generously provided by our regular donation partners. To keep up with this demand, we normally maintain 3–4 weeks of protein in storage, which requires a significant amount of freezer space.

Because of this urgent need, all 2026 SML Gives Day contributions will go directly toward replacing this critical freezer unit.

Our goal is $8,000, and every dollar brings us closer to restoring the storage capacity we need to continue serving our community.  Please consider donating and sharing this post to help us reach our SMLGIVES day goal.
