Thanks to the generosity of individuals, families, churches and businesses during 2023 and 2024 we reached the goal to upgrade (with state required equipment) our EMS-13 Emergency Response Vehicle so it can be licensed and placed in service, available to respond to calls within the community.

Our goal for this event is stocking medical supplies in the new EMS-13 emergency response vehicle and restocking the two ambulances:

$22 will purchase a HyFin vent chest seal for treatment of penetrating injuries to the chest.  

$35 will purchase a Curaplex NPA (nasopharyngeal airways) 9 pack Kit made for the effective management of nasal airways while providing patient comfort.

$40 will purchase a 6 pack box of Plus Supraglottic Airway Resus for airway and oxygen delivery.

$75 will purchase a pair of Edge System Quik Combo Electrodes leadwire for adults.

$75 will purchase an Edge System Electrode Connector for ECG monitoring and simplify delivery pacing, defibrillation and synchronized cardioversion.  $700 will purchase a 10 pack.

$140 will purchase an Optimum Traction Device Traction Splint.

$160 will purchase a 24 case of 250 ml bottles of sterile water for irrigation.

$275 will purchase a Curaplex Med-E-Pak II Kit.  This is a large first aid kit which includes the bag.

$350 will purchase the Ultimate EMS Backpack. This does not include medical supplies.

$2000 will purchase HAVIS Pedestal Mounts needed to securely support the mobile data terminal needed for patient care.

Our more ambitious goal for 2025 and 2026 is raising $50,000 in donations which will allow our squad to purchase a Power-LOAD cot fastener system designed by Stryker to improve operator and patient safety by supporting the cot throughout the loading and unloading process.

We are a non-profit, all volunteer Corporation composed of members whose qualifications range from Emergency Vehicle operators to Paramedics.  

Mission: 

The mission of this organization shall be:  

  •    to form a body of persons dedicated to saving lives and providing pre-hospital emergency care.

  •    to teach methods of safety and emergency care to the general public, schools and other groups.

  •    to assist the citizens of the Stewartsville and surrounding communities in the event of life-threatening disasters and other emergencies as they arise.
