Four (4) Random Drawings for a $500 Prize Grant: There will be one drawing per budget level (small, medium, medium-large, and large organizations). Drawings will take place at 9 AM, 10 AM, 6 PM, and 7 PM on March 18th. Winners will be announced here and on the SML Gives Facebook page. Please note that for an organization to be eligible, it had to report its budget to the host by March 13th.
Share Your Story Prize Competition
Two “Share Your Story” $750 Prize Grants: The Centra BMH and Carilion FMH Prizes. Nonprofits can enter by sharing an impact story on Facebook using the hashtag #smlgivesday2026. The post must include: this exact hashtag #smlgivesday2026 to be eligible, the story should highlight the nonprofit’s impact: this can be for any stakeholder (clients, volunteers, staff, supporters), and posts should also promote the nonprofit’s participation in SML Gives Day 2026. The two posts with the most reactions (likes, loves, cares, etc.) at 8 PM EDT on March 18 will each win a $750 prize grant.
PLEASE NOTE: SML Good Neighbors, as the host, will NOT be eligible for any prizes. Additionally, no posts written or posted by SML Good Neighbors staff will be eligible either. If you are an organization that has been assisted by one of our SML Good Neighbors staff in managing your Facebook, no SML Good Neighbors staff will be able to assist you with a Share Your Story post. This is to ensure fairness and transparency. Thank you!
